Som IT Cooperatiu is a new project that aims to be a referent in the design of business processes and the development of IT tools within the social economy.
It is a project promoted by the cooperatives Som Mobilitat, Som Connexió and Finances Ètiques Foundation, with the support of Som Energia.
We are looking for a senior Python developer with experience in the ERP domain (ideally Odoo) and experience in Django.
We are looking for people with an entrepreneurial mindset who want to use their talents to make the world a better place. We want to build IT tools that help social economy projects scale up. We are committed to free software and working together with other entities and cooperatives, with the aim to become a tool for change.

Main tasks
- Design and build modules within the ERP Odoo
- Maintenance of the developed code
- Integration between the ERP and third party systems
- Provide technical support to ERP implementations

What are we looking for?
- Experience and solid foundation in object-oriented programming
- Experience developing web applications with open source frameworks in Python
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux command line
- Experience in the design and execution of unit and integration tests
- Confidence with Git and Git-based development workflows
- Good communication skills

- Interest in improving the ecosystem of the social economy
- Intermediate command of the English language
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working conditions
- Full time
- Remuneration (according to experience): €30,000 - €39,000 gross per year
- Flexible schedule
- Hybrid job with offices in Mataró, El Prat de Llobregat or Barcelona
