IZI is a startup based in Barcelona whose mission is to bring to the market a novel approach to collaborative video creation with smartphones. At IZI we are rethinking the capture, editing and delivery of multi-camera videos taking advantage of deep learning technologies for Automated Video Editing (AVE).
We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join our development team. The successful candidate will join the backend team to develop our solution for AVE, along with other developers and researchers, led by our CTO.
Your duties in the team will be to improve our current REST API solution to deliver personalized videos from crowdsourced mobile recordings, among others: create new functionalities for our API, maintain our current services and systems, create new and reliable test suites or explore cloud resources to achieve new features.
What we are seeking in you
- At least +2 year of Python development
- At least +2 year of Flask or Django framework development
- Experience with docker and docker-compose
- Experience with development tools
- Experience working on a SCRUM team
- Working with CI/CD solutions
- Familiar with TDD methodologies
- Experience with code quality tools
What would be awesome
- +1 year of other programming languages, specially Kotlin or Flutter
- Experience in video or audio processing
- Interest in music and live performance
- Interest in live sports (such as basketball or football matches)
- Experience working in the Azure cloud and with managed Kubernetes
